
CEO & Director
Mr. Veryard is a chemical engineer who graduated with a BEng from McGill University and an MaSc. from the Royal Military College of Canada. He has experience in investor relations working with public and private companies in the metals and cannabis industries to increase investor awareness and raise capital. Mr. Veryard is also the Chairman of a national charity that works closely with Indigenous communities on infrastructure development projects and capacity building. During his time as Chairman, he gained extensive experience with stakeholder engagement and working with federal and provincial governments.

Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Battiston is a CPA-CGA, she obtained her BA in Economics from the University of Guelph and holds an ICD.D from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Deborah has an extensive background with over 25 years of financial management, including public companies, mergers and acquisitions, tax, and financing. She also has extensive experience with fast-paced growth companies and infrastructure creation having managed the financial teams for many successful, international and domestic companies. Ms. Battiston serves as Chief Financial Officer and director on a number of public and private companies.

Corporate Secretary
Mr. Choi is a corporate lawyer who graduated from Western University’s JD/HBA program in 2013. He was previously an associate at a top-tier Bay Street firm, where he honed his skills in areas including equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions , fund formation and private and public securities law. Kenny currently acts as corporate secretary and legal counsel to various publicly-traded CSE, TSX-V and TSX companies to help them develop innovative solutions to achieve their corporate goals.

VP Exploration
Dr. Rompel has over 30 years of exploration and mining experience in a wide range of roles. He has worked in a variety of commodities, including precious metals and base metals as well as coking coal and cobalt. For more than a decade, Dr. Rompel evaluated capital projects within Anglo American and was on the board of Spectrem (an Anglo-American Company) as Technical Director. Previously, he worked in Peru where he was the Corporate Manger of Business Development, responsible for the evaluation and acquisition of mining projects in North and South America.
